REST CUBE - EXHIBIT PIECES RECYCLING

The purpose of this project was to give a second life to exhibit pieces created by hepia’s students (haute école du paysage, de l’ingénieurie, et de l’architecture, Geneva), designed for the Milan 2015 world expo Swiss pavilion, which would be returned to the school at the end of the expo.

Each module is turned into an alcove, creating an appropriable space for the user, shielding him from the weather, ate- nuating sounds, and offering a private space, without cutting off from the outside world, transparency allowing to keep vi- sual contact with the surroundings.

The 16 modules can be positioned and assembled in a variety of ways, such as 2 «rest cubes».
